Folded Star Ornament using Fabric

Folded-Star-Ornament

Using a polystyrene ball to cover up and three different types of fabrics with different shading, the ladies from a spoonful of sugar have created a beautiful star ornament for decorating the Christmas tree with.

Best of all.. there is no sewing involved! All it takes is practice of moving, folding and pinning the fabrics in the right places.

    I think this is lovely, but since my cousin has been making at least one every year since she got married in the early 90s, the Spoonful of Sugar girls certainly did not come up with this. Perhaps they’ve “revived” it, or “brought it to broader attention”? Again, a lovely ornament. You should see the fabrics from the early 90s. ๐Ÿ™‚
