Heading to the thrift store? Or maybe you have an old lamp sitting in your craft room just waiting for a makeover? Becca over at From Gardners to Bergers will show you how she transformed this plain lamp into a decorative accent. Using her word processing software and an image she found online, Becca created a stencil then painted the shade. Take a look at the French Bee Lamp here.

This looks really pretty, and is a great idea for livening up a plain lampshade.
However, may I just say that the French word for bee is spelled ABEILLE, not abielle. Sorry!
Hazel, that was my first reaction! Oh my. It’s lovely – but…
LOVE it, very cute idea. Unfortunately, it’s spelled l’Abeille.
