Preserving Your Vacation Memories

July 16, 2014 by Larissa Coleman

This is one of the most popular times of the year to take a vacation, especially for those vacations planned on a beachy ocean-front.  For some of us, a trip to the beach can happen any time, but for others of us, it’s a rare opportunity.  Remember, preserving your memories is most important!

This fun and beautiful craft comes to us today via the blog Craft Klatch, and it is the perfect idea to have both a functional piece of décor, while still being a wonderful keepsake memorabilia.  In her post, she tells you where you can buy the sand and sea shells at a big-box craft store, but why not use the sand and shells from a recent vacation?  Gather your items, and read her post to see what all you will need for this little project.  There is also a video tutorial for you to follow along with.  As simple as it is, I’m sure you’ll be making a few.
