Underground Greenhouse Tutorial For Year-Round Gardening

September 1, 2014 by Larissa Coleman

underground

Do you like gardening, but tend to go into a winter depression because you can’t enjoy those fresh fruits and veggies during those few cold months of the year?  An underground greenhouse, or walipini, may be the option for you.  This post will show you a video tutorial on just how to build one of your own.  That way you can be growing your harvest year round, and enjoying fresh veggies while everyone else is using up their canned food storage (or buying foreign).

While the instructions leave you with a fairly large greenhouse, you could easily downsize and make it work for the space you have.  What do you think?  Is this something you would want to have?
