What are you making with your old jeans?

September 2, 2014 by Larissa Coleman

Before you go tossing out your family’s worn out denim jeans, read this post to see if there is something better you can be doing with them.

Now, saving your old denim jeans may be something your grandma or mother (or yourself in my case) would tend to do.  I have no shame in that. But If you haven’t noticed, a lot of people like to use them for sturdy quilts, cushions and other fantastic upcycled crafts.

However, this great post from Home Ideas doesn’t contain a single quilt.

What it does contain are 15 great ideas that you may have not even thought you could use with that old pair of jeans.

Read the post from Home Ideas here: 15 Things To Make From Old Jeans

Did you know the History of your old jeans?

Jeans are pants made from denim or a dungaree cloth. They were invented by Jacob Davis and Levi Strauss in 1873.  Jeans are named after the city of Genoa in Italy, a place where cotton corduroy, called jeane, was manufactured.
