    I love the all white cabinets, and I’ve been thinking about doing it before I just found out it’s trendy. I like the black stainless matte looking appliances, I think they are called “slate” at the store, but I’m not sure about the half and half with white upper and gray lower cabinets.

    I think that subway tile would be too busy looking unless you have a really large kitchen. In any case, with these open floor plans so popular now a nicely finished kitchen is really important.
