Spring cleaning is a great way to refresh and renew your living space. However, with busy schedules and other commitments, finding the time to tackle all those cleaning tasks can be a challenge. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of Spring cleaning, don’t worry – you’re not alone! Fortunately, there are many easy and quick cleaning tricks that you can do in just a few minutes to make your home look and feel cleaner.

The blog How Does She has compiled a list of 16 things you can get done in under 30 minutes. Here are some of the top tips to help you get started on your Spring cleaning projects:

Clean your baseboards: It’s amazing how much of a difference clean baseboards can make. Simply grab a damp cloth and run it along the baseboards to remove any dust and dirt.

Dust your blinds: Blinds can accumulate a lot of dust and grime over time. A quick and easy way to clean them is to use a sock over your hand, dipped in a solution of equal parts vinegar and water, and run it along each slat.

Clean your light fixtures: Dust and cobwebs can quickly accumulate on light fixtures. Use a microfiber cloth or duster to remove any dust and dirt.

Scrub your shower: A clean shower can make a huge difference in your bathroom. Use a scrub brush and a mixture of baking soda and water to scrub away any grime or soap scum.

Clean your oven: An easy way to clean your oven is to mix baking soda and water into a paste, spread it over the dirty areas, and let it sit for 15-20 minutes before wiping it away with a damp cloth.

Wash your windows: Dirty windows can make your home look dingy. Use a solution of equal parts vinegar and water and a squeegee to quickly and easily clean your windows.

Organize your pantry: A well-organized pantry can make meal prep and grocery shopping much easier. Take a few minutes to organize your pantry shelves, throw out any expired items, and make a shopping list for any items you need to restock.

Clean your microwave: Microwaves can quickly become dirty and smelly. To quickly clean yours, place a bowl of water with a splash of vinegar in the microwave and heat it for 5 minutes. Let it sit for a few minutes before wiping away any grime with a damp cloth.

Dust your shelves: Shelves can quickly accumulate dust and clutter. Take a few minutes to dust your shelves and declutter any items that you no longer need or use.

Clean your fridge: A clean fridge can help keep your food fresh and healthy. Take a few minutes to wipe down the shelves and drawers, throw out any expired or spoiled food, and make a shopping list for any items you need to restock.

These are just a few of the many quick and easy cleaning tricks you can do to tackle your Spring cleaning projects. By breaking down tasks into smaller chunks of time, you can make cleaning feel less overwhelming and more manageable. So, whether you have just a few minutes or a few hours, start tackling those cleaning projects and enjoy a fresh, clean living space!
