6 DIY Signs for Your Home Decor

April 10, 2011 by Amanda Formaro

I am a sign fanatic. I love old signs especially, ones that are weathered or aged, ones that you distress yourself, or those gems that you are sometimes lucky enough to find already aged by the elements. Signs are a fabulous way to dress up your walls, so check out these cool pieces I found recently. Most of these DIY signs have a rustic farmhouse style to them, but you can easily use them in Beach house decor or french provincial styling too.

DIY signs are made even easier with the use of a Cricut machine, but don feel intimidated with painting your own lettering, its easy to make a stencil using your font and a printer, cut out the letters and paint. The best thing about creating your ow rustic decor signs is that little mistakes, or wonky letters will add to the rustic country charm of your DIY Signs.

2. Family Motto Sign
3. Paris Sign
4. Faux Metal Sign
5. Laundry Sign
6. Farmer’s Market Sign
