DIY Intuitive Crystal Garden

July 3, 2021 by Shellie Wilson

This tutorial is for creating a DIY crystal garden. Crystals are very popular right now and these mini gardens are a great way to display your favorite gemstone crystals. Different crystals have different meanings.  There are two main ways to choose a crystal – with your intuition or based on your intention.  We chose our crystals based on intention.  If you’re looking for more tranquility and calm in your life, Amethyst crystal is one of the best intention crystals for relieving stress and bringing balance back into your crazy life.  . Rose quartz is helpful for emotional well-being, love, and happiness.  Choose crystals for your own intentions.

Here is a small guide to some of the most popular crystals and their meanings.

Moonstone is said to be the stone of women and is believed to enhance feminity, gentleness, receptivity and intuition. It is said to help reduce PMT and to lesson the problems associated with the menopause by slowing down the hormonal changes. Moonstone is also believed to aid the reproductive system, benefiting conception, pregnancy and childbirth.

Some crystal meanings are these, choose a  crystal gemstone that reflects your healing needs.

Rose Quartz – For love and heart health

Sodalite –For inner peace, wisdom and calming a quick temper

Amethyst – For spiritual awakening, promotes healthy sleep and raises the personal vibration

Clear Quartz—For clarity, healing of all kinds, promotes positive energy

For creating your crystal garden you will need the following items

Colored Moss

A small bowl, coffee cup, or plate.

Hot glue or E600 glue

Gemstone crystal chips

Plastic faux succulents

Crystals – For our crystals, we used small crystal pendants, Rose quartz Crystal chips and Amethyst Crystal chips, .  We also used raw crystals cluster for a chunky natural look.

Start by layering your colored moss, if your bowl or vessel is deep, line it with some pebbles first to fill in the depth.

Next, take some of the succulents, choose succulents in matching colors to compliment your crystals and place them in the bowl. We added some stones, and chips in our intuitive design, allowing your own sense of placement of the crystals take over the creative design process. I had some dried flower buds that I also added to this garden.
