DIY Laptop Lap Desk

April 19, 2011 by Amanda Formaro

Laptop Lap Desk

About a year ago I picked up a breakfast in bed type tray at a thrift store and have used it to hold my laptop every night on the couch. Every day I have to go looking for it because one of my kids has swiped it to use with our other laptop! Anyone who has a laptop computer knows how hot they get and it can get very uncomfortable on your lap. Well, Carolina over at Always Expect Moore came up with this idea for a lap desk made specifically for your laptop.  Check out Carolina’s laptop lap desk here.

    HI,

I was trying to find a pattern for a lap desk and I love this one. I wanted to make a few for Christmas but I can’t access the blog with the pattern on it. Is there another way I can get it?

    Thanks,
    Melanie
