DIY Modern Spring Wall Hanging

April 7, 2020 by Shellie Wilson

Learn how to make a pretty seasonal wall hanging to display fresh flowers. You only need a few simple supplies to create this wall decor: a dowel, some rope, and eggshells. You will use the cleaned eggshells as little vases to put fresh or dry flowers. Have fun giving your Easter decor a boho touch. Find out all the details in the tutorial and the video.

Dollar Tree Halloween Tiered Stand

I love a good Dollar Tree Halloween craft, and this DIY Halloween tiered stand is one of those projects that proves you really don’t need expensive supplies to make something spooky and impressive.

This project uses simple plastic plates, bowls, wine glasses or candle holders, black spray paint, and a few Halloween decorations to create a dramatic tiered display stand. The raven on top gives it that perfect haunted-house feel, while the black finish pulls everything together so it looks much more high-end than the supply list suggests.

What I really like about this project is how flexible it is. You can make it tall and dramatic with several layers, or simplify it into a shorter version if you want something for a mantel, entry table, Halloween party buffet, or spooky centerpiece. The skeleton hands at the base are optional too, so you can make it as creepy or as classic as you like.

This is also a great project for using up random Halloween decorations you already have in your stash. Add mini pumpkins, faux spiderwebs, battery candles, skulls, ravens, potion bottles, or even wrapped candy for a Halloween party display.
