I know what you are thinking I have gone crazy for Gnomes, well yes my crafting friends I have. It’s the third day in a row that I have featured another Gnome tutorial. Yes, I am obsessed and I hope by the end of this Gnome week you will be too.
This gnome tutorial uses a sock that you can buy brand new or you can use those lost sock soles from the laundry room. I mean Gnomes could be stinky right? (please wash your lost socks first).
Gnomes are still very popular this year and still going strong at craft fairs as good little sellers. I have seen DIY gnomes in all sizes from small baby socks to giant socks to 5 ft gnomes made with stretch knit fabrics and placed as a welcome gnome at the front door of a friends house. So many different variations and a styles of sock gnomes can be made just by changing the color scheme, the beard and using printed socks.
You can see the original full written tutorial for this gnome here.
