There’s a thrift store by my house that I frequent. They have an old beat up china cabinet full of cloth napkins, placemats, doilies, and handkerchiefs. So many times I have passed by the handkerchiefs never giving them a second thought. Then I came across this post over at Canadian House and Home. They took vintage hankies and framed them as beautiful wall art.

As always you a spot on finding the prefect thing. I just got back from a family reunion where a cousin gave me some of my Grandma’s hankies. Thanks for showing me a pretty way to display them.

I have a handkerchief that I have framed. Your brief instructions on framing need to be expanded. Please include the fact that ONLY acid free products should be used in framing anything that is of value.
