Highschools To Introduce Adulting 101 Classes

July 1, 2019 by Shellie Wilson

I have spent the day complaining to my tweens about their lack of ability to help around the house. To be honest I don’t need them to help me with the chores, I just need them to pick up after themselves. Every time I turn around someone else has made a mess, there will be shoes on the floor, dirty cups on the table. etc etc. So I am all for this program. Is it really going to happen? Well according to WLKY it sure is.

The first program is going to be trialled in a  high school setting and run for 3 days. Trust me folks, I am 40 and you can’t learn this shit in 3 days!

I mean I know adults who still need a lesson or two in adulting, there is the potential for this program to be for mature students too. In fact, let me go ahead and sign up my husband right now!

Check out these books to help you “Adult”.

A class in organizing – or deep cleaning…classes like sewing, cooking, running a household, etc are good ideas.. but, IMO, I think it’s a parent’s job to teach their children AND husbands, if necessary, to clean up after themselves.
