You may have heard that one way to deter birds from pecking away at the precious red fruit on your strawberry plants is to create some decoys. Paint some rocks that are roughly the same size as actual strawberries and place them around your plants. According to doityourself.com you should “place them around the strawberry plants, which will confuse and frustrate birds who can’t visually distinguish one from the other.
