I started out looking online at stores such as anthropologies, pottery barn, etc and I was just overwhelmed with the expense of the “rustic” styled items.
I already have a sander, so all I really needed to buy was a saw, cause my little chicken arms were not going to be able to handsaw for very long, and of course, I didn’t want to make just one Wood craft projects I wanted to make them all.
So here is my to-do list, there are not in any particular order, but I am working with the 4×4 crafts at the moment as that is the wood that I bought. So far I have made some pumpkins from this Halloween Wood Crafts list, and at Christmas time I made some snowmen from this Christmas wood crafts list.

I keep getting messages asking what tools I used for my wood projects,
I understand the importance of having the right tools to make the job easier, faster, and more enjoyable. That’s why I have decided to update my list of recommended tools, specifically for my woodworking projects.
One of the most commonly asked questions is about the sander I use. I am now using the Ryobi One Cordless sander, which has proven to be a fantastic tool for me. Cordless tools have changed the game for me, as I am now able to move around freely and work outside of my workshop without being restricted to areas with power. The Ryobi Cordless sander is also incredibly convenient, as it is lightweight, which is important to me as my arms grow tired easily, easy to maneuver, and eliminates the hassle of cords getting in the way.
Another tool that has been a game-changer for me is the Ryobi Circular cordless saw. It is the perfect tool for cutting straight lines, which is all I need for most of my projects. The saw is able to handle a maximum thickness of 4×4 wood, which is more than enough for most of my projects. I mostly work with 2×4 wood lengths and the saw has performed exceptionally well for these cuts and of course by having all Ryboi tools, the batteries are interchangeable.
These tools are convenient, easy to use, and will take your woodworking projects to the next level. So, go ahead and make your next project a breeze with these must-have tools!
How long does Ryobi cordless sander last?
The duration of a Ryobi cordless sander’s battery life depends on the specific model and the conditions of use, but on average it can last between 20-30 minutes of continuous use. Some models come with a high-capacity battery that can provide longer runtime. It’s always recommended to check the product specifications and manual for detailed information on battery life.
