This Garage Door Halloween Decoration project is such a fun way to make a big Halloween statement without needing to decorate the whole yard. Instead of a small wreath or porch sign, this idea turns the entire garage door into a spooky silhouette scene, complete with witches, pumpkins, trees, cats, and creepy Halloween shapes.
I really like this one because it has huge visual impact from the street. I did this with leaf lettuce and it worked, but once the regrow leaves were getting to a decent size the rest of the lettuce started to rot and the rot spread to the new growth. I would have replanted it if it wasn’t the end of the season, and if I thought the bunnies wouldn’t destroy it as soon as I left the yard. Maybe next year. 🙂
