Epsom Salt Luminaries

December 18, 2010 by Amanda Formaro

I don’t really like to share my own craft projects here, I’ve told you that before. But sometimes I make something that I’m just so happy with, I can’t help but want to yell it from the mountaintops! Ok, that’s a little dramatic, but you get the idea. 😉 The other day I sat down and made these epsom salt luminaries from jars, epsom salt and a teeny bit of food coloring. There’s even a video to give you the full effect. 🙂 After Christmas you could use them as winter decor and in the summer the colors work for beach decor too! Great in a bathroom or bedroom. 🙂 Hope you likey!

Love your luminaires and lightbulb ornaments. I organize a Christmas craft sale where only chidren can shop and nothing is priced over $2.50. I’ll use some of these ideas for that.

Wow! I am so impressed at how these come out with epsom salts. Would never have thought of that. Thanks so much for sharing.
