Ooooooo. Now I really like this, what a fabulous gift idea. I’d probably be selfish though and keep it for myself. Get the tutorial for this awesome ornament at Scrapper Girl — A photo Christmas ornament!.

Hidden Storage Fake Books – Why You Need Them

I am absolutely in love with these color-styled hidden storage books. They are one of those home decor finds that instantly make a shelf or coffee table look more styled, more thoughtful, and a little more expensive. Which color would you get?
What makes them so appealing is that they are not just decorative. Each faux book opens up to reveal hidden storage, which means they are doing double duty as both decor and a practical way to tuck away little bits of everyday clutter. I love anything that helps a space look beautiful while still being useful, and these do exactly that.
The blue tones in this set are especially lovely. They feel calm, elegant, and easy to blend into so many decor styles, from modern and coastal through to classic or vintage-inspired spaces. They have that curated designer look that makes it seem like you have carefully styled every corner of your home.
These are the kind of pieces that make me ridiculously happy because they solve a problem without looking like storage. You can use them to hide remotes, notes, keepsakes, or all those random little things that never seem to have a proper home. Instead of adding more baskets or boxes, you get something that looks polished and intentional.
I think that is why I am so taken with them. They are pretty, clever, and practical all at once. For anyone who loves styled bookshelves, beautiful coffee table decor, or home accessories that secretly work harder than they look, these hidden storage books are such a fun find.

Your ideas are great. I always like to look for new ways for families struggling to still have some Christmas cheer.

Needed a gift for volunteers at our Rabbit rescue and sanctuary and this will be an easy and nto costly gift to make, to give to each one with their bunnies pics on it.
Could you use a styrafoam ball instead on the glass one?
