It may sound revolting and a little but unappetizing, but there truly are certain foods that can be regrown from their unused parts. I did this with leaf lettuce and it worked, but once the regrow leaves were getting to a decent size the rest of the lettuce started to rot and the rot spread to the new growth. I would have replanted it if it wasn’t the end of the season, and if I thought the bunnies wouldn’t destroy it as soon as I left the yard. Maybe next year. 🙂
