It may sound revolting and a little but unappetizing, but there truly are certain foods that can be regrown from their unused parts.  Before you toss out your celery ends or the tips of those carrots, take a look through this list and see if you can possibly regrow it.  You just may be surprised at some of the food in this post.

    I did this with leaf lettuce and it worked, but once the regrow leaves were getting to a decent size the rest of the lettuce started to rot and the rot spread to the new growth. I would have replanted it if it wasn’t the end of the season, and if I thought the bunnies wouldn’t destroy it as soon as I left the yard. Maybe next year. 🙂
